5. Mochos - Malia One Way (Circular hike)

An easy hike from the mountain village of Mochos to the coastal town of Malia. This hike leads along an ancient, mainly cobbled donkey path down to the north coast of Crete. It offers fantastic views of the coastal villages to the east of Heraklion and also includes a short visit to a cave. This hike is also possible without a hire car or can be combined as a long circular hike with the Mochos - Stalis hike (approx. 13 km).
The hike is possible all year round!
